Using Habitica to Take Notes (NOT a Journal)[]
Create a new Habit and uncheck both directions (+ and -). The habit's name is the note's title, and its content is in the desciption. To make the note more noticeable you can put it on top, increase the title's font size (make it a header) or add images (see Markdown Cheat Sheet).
Don't forget that it is still a habit, so feel free to add some tags to organize everything!
Sending Yourself a Reminder[]
Does the notification icon on Facebook attract your attention every time you log in? What about the number appearing on the Social tab in Habitica whenever you receive a private message?
If you need to remind yourself of something the next time you sign in to Habitica, you can send yourself a private message with that reminder by following these steps:
- Go to the Party page and look for your name in the Member(s) box. Click on it.
- Click the Send private message button (the mail icon in the lower right corner).
- Write the message and click Send.
Note: If you can't see your name because you are not in a party, do one of these:
- Create a solo party
- Post something in the Tavern or a guild. Your name will appear.
Remember: That message is supposed to be read the next time you play, so don't read it right after you send it!
