A list of the 2021 New Year Countdown Challenge Series tasks as listed in the eponymous guild.
Day One: The task was to sing, or otherwise find some joy in music. The main prize was 20 gems, sponsored by Cinnamon_Toast, while the bonus prizes are 15 gems each and sponsored by Cinnamon_Toast and IAmProductive. The main winner is t0rschlusspan1k, and the bonus prize winners are royk4444 and blakathy.
Day Two: The task for 2nd December was to do something kind for someone. It didn't have to be big, just something like quickly helping with a chore or sharing some chocolate. The main prize was 20 gems, sponsored by IAmProductive, and won by Eule. The bonus prizes of 15 gems were sponsored by MaybeSteveRogers and MiaPrimavera, and were won by Polledra and eddylai.
Day Three: The task for 3rd December was to send some mail! A Christmas card, a postcard, a letter, a friendly note... all these kinds of things really brighten the day of those that receive them. The main prize was 20 gems, sponsored by MiaPrimavera, with bonus prizes of 15 gems from Acylon and incessantnibbler. The winners were Saranovala, Bartimaeus2020 and Hijinkz.
Day Four: The task for 4th December was to take a moment out of your day and read. The main prize was 20 gems, sponsored by Dewines, and the winner was Lolzzzzz5. The two bonus prizes are 15 gems each, sponsored by taldin4012014 and Frisia91. The winners were Abdou_Missions and StarryMinded.
Day Five: Was a freebie with no task, with all prizes sponsored by shanaqui. The winners were cozysunlight, Einery and pinypiny.
Day Six: The task was to have a bubble bath... or if that wasn't possible for you, then something else self-indulgent and just for you! The main prize was sponsored by peyoungs, with bonus prizes from eddylai and Dewines, and the winners were FRITZ_1, Ridoy and LittleLadyPhantom, respectively.
Day Seven: The task was to do something difficult for you, perhaps something you've been worried about doing, like answering that awkward email or scheduling an appointment, or getting started on an assignment. The main prize was sponsored by noisyastronomer, with bonus prizes from peyoungs and M258. The winners were Anklebiter26, KiraraNox and ArrowAce13, respectively.
Day Eight: The task was to donate to a foodbank, either with food items and other useful goods, or a small monetary donation. The main prize of 20 gems was sponsored by M258, while the 15 gem bonus prizes are sponsored by noisyastronomer and kitbeard. The winners were Xx1Ash1xX, StarDreamer and Bubsy08.
Day Nine: The task was about reaching out to someone you haven't spoken to in a while. The main prize of 20 gems was sponsored by kitbeard, with the 15 gem bonus prizes sponsored by CernyPie and bzero. The winners were callme_m, rookdigoo and 24freeplay.
Day Ten: This one was a freebie, where you just had to join to win! All prizes were donated by shanaqui. The winners were Forgottensaves, SagaAriana and boxofdelights.
Day Eleven: This task was a nudge to get some fresh air -- however works best for you. The main prize is from artsandseances, with bonus prizes sponsored by QuartzFox and MEmry. The winners were knitandpurl, mommy19 and citrusella.
Day Twelve: The task was to do a gratitude journal, though I suggested an ingratitude journal if you needed validation! The main prize of 20 gems was sponsored by MEmry, with bonus prizes from AnneLine and dicedweller. The winners were Fenokko, ebolukbass and rangerboy369.
Day Thirteen: This prompt was about spending quality time with a very close loved one. The main prize is sponsored by Ceran, with bonus prizes from glitterbox and eleanorthetroubadour. The winners were demisectea, Polledra and Samw1se.
Day Fourteen: This task was to get involved with some citizen science, like Zooniverse! The main prize is from QuartzFox, with bonus prizes from artsandseances and Ceran. The winners were CathB, Qphelia and Little Happy.
Day Fifteen: This one was a freebie, and all prizes were sponsored by shanaqui. The winners were manaa, JonasTheDarkmane and Amelia19.
Day Sixteen: The task was to give someone a small gift (including ones that don't cost any money). The 20 gem main prize was sponsored by AnneLine, with bonus prizes from emera_ld and -Chu. The winners were Neil_1113, NatushaCPC and TheLordCthulu.
Day Seventeen: The task was to thank someone! The main prize was sponsored by dicedweller, and the bonus prizes were sponsored by C_ and CalypsoTea. The winners were Armanya, mery_vc and Zdenka.
Day Eighteen: The task was to ask for help. The main prize of 20 gems was sponsored by eleanorthetroubadour, and two bonus prizes of 15 gems were donated by citrusella and -----MilaMeow-----. The winners were kelsccall, Einery and sarunskale.
Day Nineteen: The task was to try something new! The main prize of 20 gems was sponsored by -Chu-, with bonus prizes of 15 gems sponsored by theduba and LindyBlues. The winners are kitbeard, cloudyskies and SeiryuuRaiden.
Day Twenty: This one was a freebie, where you just have to join for a chance to win. All prizes were sponsored by shanaqui, and the winners were nolongerchaos, valthw and hyunyeol.
Day Twenty-One: The task for this one was to eat (or plan to eat) a favourite meal. The main prize was sponsored by CalypsoTea, with bonus prizes from thewoolyotter and EliotThe. The winners were Burlen, laux_x and codeknight_.
Day Twenty-Two: The task was to make a charitable donation (or find another way to benefit others). The main prize was sponsored by citrusella, with bonus prizes from SuperSaraA and autumn_leaf. The winners were eddylai, msyq_33 and canyonmoon228.
Day Twenty-Three: The task was to move! Whether that was a brisk walk or a series of stretches in your chair, the task was to spend some time enjoying what your body can do. Day Twenty-Four: This task was to spend some time with a fluffy friend! The main prize of 30 gems is sponsored by theduba, with 20 gem bonus prizes from incessantnibbler and taldin4012014. The winners were Harley_Queen, Bublinka23 and Papikana.
Day Twenty-Five: There was no task for this one, so people had to just join for a chance to win. The prizes of 50, 25 and 25 gems are all sponsored by shanaqui. The winners were faeryguide, Frenzy_Wolf2485 and S M.
Day Twenty-Six: The task for this day was to reach out to someone who might be lonely or vulnerable, whether that's someone you know or someone you meet. The challenge is sponsored by LindyBlues, with bonus prizes from Frisia91 and eddylai. The winners were ayamoustafa, Graf_Werewolf and Zunzszo.
Day Twenty-Seven: The task for the 27th was to have some quality time on your own to recharge! The challenge was sponsored by thewoolyotter, with bonus prizes sponsored by CernyPie and bzero. The winners were Masami06, Nightshade_Nyu and Teanjel.
Day Twenty-Eight: The task for the 28th was to do something creative. The challenge was sponsored by EliotThe, with bonus prizes sponsored by glitterbox and emera_ld. The winners were watercrow, R4leigh and UltraBlack.
Day Twenty-Nine: The task for the 29th was to share something that's making you happy. The challenge was sponsored by SuperSaraA, and the bonus prizes by C_ and LadyShae. The winners were Poketendo, DeltaLWH and Makri.
Day Thirty: This one was a freebie, sponsored by shanaqui. The winners were kleinelsje, Ravenwolfe and Frija.
Day Thirty-One: The prompt was to come up with some resolutions! The main prize was sponsored by autumn_leaf, and citrusella sponsored both bonus prizes. The winners were blakejones99, hb-kanra and Jijiko.
Jackpot: Happy New Year! The main prize was 100 gems, with two 50 gem bonus prizes. An additional 50 gem prize was added at the last minute. All prizes were donated by shanaqui. The winners were pengue, spamber85, cloudscantfly and BrightSparx.
Between the 37 donors, we put together a record-breaking 2,057 gems, and there were 97 prizes in total.
