So you want to be rich eh! You want stand atop a dragon's horde with your party by your side. Well the best treasures are the ones earned.
While you could always use fix character values to get infinite gold, this guide explains how to get gold fast within the confines of the normal game.
The technique[]
- Be a Rogue
- Every time you level up increase your INT stat.
- Wear the best gear you have with the highest INT.
- Every morning after checking, but before doing any other tasks:
- Switch your gear to the best PER gear you have.
- Cast Tools of the Trade as many times as you can with the mana that you have.
- Switch back to the best INT gear that you have.
- Do your tasks normally throughout the day. Never spend any mana except at the start of the day.
Your PER as well as the PER of everyone in your party will skyrocket. With this technique it is very easy to go over 1000 PER every day with just a single rogue using this technique. The more rogues there are in the party the higher everyone's PER will go. With a PER this high each time you do a task you will get large amounts of gold.
Tips[]
- The more tasks you do each day, the better. Perfect days are even better.
- Getting some of the best INT gear requires being a mage to purchase it. You can change your class to do this.
- The Change Equipment script can make it really easy to switch your gear quickly.
Why does this work, why is this better than anything else[]
PER is the best stat in the game[]
Everything in the game that gives you gold (except for selling things) scales based off of PER. However, all of the skills that give you gold, have diminishing returns, meaning that once your PER gets very high there isn't much benefit to increasing it further.
The one thing that gives gold without diminishing returns, is simply completing normal tasks. The amount of gold you get from a task scales linearly, meaning no matter how much you increase your PER, each time you increase it you will get more gold from each time you do a task. Because of this once your PER is high enough, you will be getting more gold from normal tasks that skills could ever give.
Tools of the trade scales with unbuffed PER, but armor is not considered a buff. This means that you will get more PER from each cast if you are wearing armor that boosts your PER.
Buffs are most effective when applied early[]
When a buff is applied it effects you until you cron the next day. However you do tasks throughout the entire day. This means to get the most out of any buff you want to cast it as many times as you can before you do any tasks.
This also means the inverse is true, casting a buff later in the day after some tasks have been done is a bit of a waste. Since that mana would have better been spent the next day before any tasks are done.
INT is the best stat in the game[]
INT increases the amount of maximum mana you have. This scaling is another one of the rare cases where diminishing returns is not used. This means increasing your INT will always give you more mana.
Everything in the game that gives you mana (once your max mana is more than 100), gives you a percentage of your max mana, not a fixed number. However, skills cost a fixed amount of mana to cast. This means having more INT means you always get more mana, which means you can cast any skill more often. This is why you want to be wearing the best INT armor most of the time.
Additionally more INT gives you more experience with each task, meaning you will level up faster, meaning you can get more INT faster, meaning you can cast Tools of the Trade more, meaning you have more PER, meaning you get more gold. Get it?
Tools of the trade is the best skill in the game[]
Each cast of tools of the trade gives you more PER than any other stat buffing skill in most cases. However the amount you get with each task does still have diminishing returns. Once you have the highest PER armor equipped the returns from a PER any higher than what that armor gives provides very little returns.
Because of this increasing your INT is better than increasing your unbuffed PER, since it will allow you to cast the skill more and get better returns.
What is gold good for[]
After a few weeks of this you might have trouble spending all of your gold, here is what you can do with it:
- Buy, and do every quest you can get with gold
- Open the Enchanted Armoire until you have all of the gear.
- Subscribers can buy a limited number of gems each month.
- If your party is ok with it, buy transformation items and transform your entire party.
Alas once you have done all of this enough times, you will begin to realize the deep dark truth of the universe.
Money doesn't buy happiness. Sure it was fun to see number go up, sure it was cool to unlock all of the gear, and do all of the quests. Congrats, you won, but now what?
What do you do when you are so rich that you have nothing left to buy, nothing left to desire. But, the desire is still there isn't it? Still eating at you. Still calling to you.

You and your friends are now rich. There is nothing left to want for, nothing left to acquire, nothing left to craft. But its still there, crying out.
MORE!
Eventually the number is so high that it looses all meaning, the paltry 100 coins you paid for that helmet weeks ago almost seems like a joke. Wait.. was it 100 coins, or was it 20. Does it matter? What is the point of numbers so small anyway. They are of no concern to you. No cost is of any concern to you anymore. And yet.. It is ever present, screaming, louder and louder angry, hungry. You know i̷t̷ isn't, but it feels like i̵͇̚ṯ̷́ is calling your name, i̶̖̕͜t̶̪̄͗ knows you, maybe ḯ̴͕̖̝t̴̤̼̘̐̈́͠ even is you.

Things to do after wining capitalism[]
The game currently does not have any of the features of late stage capitalism. It is not possible to fund a space program, or build warehouses on the moon, or invest in fund development or even lobby politicians into passing laws that make PER scale better.
Once you have done all of the aforementioned things and have gotten board of having money. You will find that there are still tons of achievements in the game that do not involve gold at all. As it turns out, money isn't everything.
