Are gems still the primary means of dev support? Has that role been taken over by subscriptions yet? Nutter (talk) 10:28, April 14, 2014 (UTC)
- Hm... I'm not sure I'd pit gems and subscriptions against each other. Is there a way of wording it that still emphasizes gems as a way of supporting developers? Thing is, it needs to be clear to users that the primary function of gems is to support habitrpg. Buying gems will support habitrpg development. It will help for users to understand gems are not free and why. Wc8 (talk) 13:44, April 14, 2014 (UTC)
Failed Gem Transaction[]
Sorry for forgetting an edit summary - I updated the information on failed gem transactions to match the most recent advice from the admins. JosephK9 (talk) 18:12, October 11, 2017 (UTC)
- JosephK9 : I've actually changed it again in a few ways. The information you'd provided is what we tell players in the Bug guild, but sending an email is not always necessary and it's best to let moderators or staff give advice about emails. But thank you for your edit! In most situations, copying text that I have put into replies in the bug guild is a good thing to do. :) LadyAlys (talk) 01:09, October 13, 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks for making the fix and for the kind note! I can't believe how hard you guys are working, and appreciate all you do!!! JosephK9 (talk) 14:11, October 13, 2017 (UTC)
Misc. edits[]
the gem table should have a fixed width. Not sure how to do it yet.

- Do you mean that the columns should be a fixed percentage of the screen width? (Screen width can vary substantially based on device, so I don't think you want a fixed pixel width). Advanced table formatting is tricky, but you can read up on it here. (See here for a discussion of setting column width.) I'd recommend starting with a copy in your sandbox so you can see how it will look before you work on the page. JosephK9 (talk) 15:38, December 29, 2017 (UTC)
- You are correct. I believe I should have said minimum width. This table displays poorly across devices that I've tested. That is all I implied.
