This is a wider issue than just the XP page, but it's relevant here. Do we want to display formulas with the math tags, or as plain text in preformatted text boxes? The former is clearer semantically, but the white generated image doesn't look great against the default background. The latter is a bit arbitrary and doesn't have a good way of representing symbols, but it looks pretty good and stands out from the page. Some formulas in the wiki are one and some are the other. Formula Formatting
This is a wider issue than just the XP page, but it's relevant here. Do we want to display formulas with the math tags, or as plain text in preformatted text boxes? The former is clearer semantically, but the white generated image doesn't look great against the default background.
