Hi @CTheDragons I'm fine ;P (I apologize for not answering for a long time.)
I think this template should be until all the news has been translated. At the moment, compared to Whats New 2019 in the Whats new ru 2019 there is no news after March 21 (i.e., news for March 26, 28 and 29).
Or is the purpose of this template to show that someone is editing this article right now?
Hi Jazzis. I saw from one of your wiki edits that you couldn't use the Data Display Tool because you didn't know where to find your API Token. If you look at the subheading just above the form where you enter your User ID and Token, it says that you can get them from the Settings -> API page, and has a link to click on to get to that page.
I'm sorry, I attentively read the tip. I thought about other players because first mentioned "player" in the singular, and then there is a "they" in the plural. I thought that the second part of the sentence says about the other players of the team.
P.S. Just sometimes it is difficult to understand that we are talking about the same player (or the same type of players) because different numbers.
Or you can even skip that step and just use this link. :) It goes directly to your API page.
Please try to avoid deleting things if they don't work for you; you may have found a bug, and rather than edit the page to remove it, feel free to ask before changing anything.
That being said -- if you're planning on sticking around and helping out on the Wiki, join us in the Wizards of the Wiki guild. 'Tis the place to hang out with the other habitual Habitican Wiki Authors, and ask questions about what's what and where and how. :)
Oh, so what's confusing you is "they". Some people who are overly picky about language like to claim that "they" can only be plural, but it's also commonly used as a gender-neutral singular pronoun, and that's how it's being used there and many other places on the wiki.
I was about to say that that's mentioned in the Guidance for Scribes, but I actually don't see it there, so it should probably be added. Thanks for bringing that to our attention! :)
Ah I see! You cannot get the API token for another player unless they specifically give it to you by looking it up themselves -- and they shouldn't do that. :) If you want to know how much damage another party member is doing, you should ask them to look up their own damage.
The reason you don't want to know someone else's API token is because that's the key to altering someone else's character -- it's the equivalent of giving someone else your password, and unlike a password, your API token can't be changed (by the user, anyway).
As soon as you reach 100 points, we need you to head over to The Knights Chambers and start a thread in honor of your contributions. We would like to know how you helped HabitRPG Wiki grow, so your Contributor Reward is well deserved. Fixing grammar and adding valuable content to stubs and new articles is much appreciated, however simply adding categories to articles would not suffice for a contributor tier. Additionally, major contributions to active Trello projects may be rewarded with a contributor tier. Please note that tier attribution is generally based on staff discretion.
