Summary[]
Boss Healing & Reverse Blessing allows a user to add health to a quest boss and deal damage to party members.
Description[]
This app sets the user's buffs to negative values in order to reverse the standard effect of a task completion or Blessing cast. Its features are built on the premise that some negative Character Stats will reverse the stats' effect on a player and their party. For example:
- With negative Strength, completing a task will deal negative damage, which will add health to the party's quest boss, thereby healing the boss, and even adding health beyond the boss's maximum HP.
- With negative Intelligence and/or Constitution, casting the Blessing skill will provide negative healing, thereby causing damage to your party members.
Note: Please make sure your party agrees to the use of this app before you use either feature!
Usage[]
To use the tool, navigate to the app's website. To login, you'll need your Habitica account's User ID and API Token from the settings page on the website, or from your Settings->API on the mobile app. Input these into the correct fields, and click "Authenticate." If it's successful, you'll see your avatar appear on the screen.
Your account stats will be briefly modified while using Boss Healing or Reverse Blessing. As soon as the process is finished, all attributes (stats, mana, exp, and gold) will be restored.
Boss Healing[]
This function will add health to the a Boss's current health.
To use Boss Healing, enter a positive number in the Heal Value
field. This number will become pending damage to be dealt at your next Cron.
Reverse Blessing[]
Note: You must be a Healer to use this function
This function will deal damage using a healer's Blessing skill. It will deal the same damage to all members of a player's party, regardless of the recipient's Constitution.
To use Reverse Blessing, enter a positive number in the Damage Value
field. The damage will be dealt immediately when cast.
Rage Effect[]
For bosses with Rage meters, if their health is above the maximum, they will return to their max HP if the rage bar is filled. This happens regardless of the rage effect type of the boss.
Tips[]
- You can input negative values to create the normal effect (i.e. deal damage using the Boss Heal function), allowing you to customize the damage you deal. This can be used to manipulate your pending damage, and can be particularly useful on parties that have damage restrictions.
- Using reverse blessing doesn't cost mana, so it can be used even without mana.
- You can use reverse blessing to challenge your team's healers.
- Collection quests won't be affected by this tool since quest progress is based on perception. Negative perception will cause you to find no items, rather than negative items.
