The Warrior is a class that citizens of Habitica can select when they reach level 10. However, all players begin the game as Warriors (but with limited abilities because mana for skills is not available until a class is chosen), so the play style doesn't change. Warriors deal high damage to tasks and have good defense against them as well.
Benefits
- Warriors have a much higher chance of dealing a critical hit. This allows them to reduce the redness of tasks much more quickly, which is useful for people who find it harder to keep up Habits or Dailies.
- Warriors have a higher Strength attribute, which causes them to deal a higher amount of damage both normally and when dealing a critical hit. Since Warriors also have a higher chance of dealing critical hits, this allows for Warriors to reduce the redness of tasks much faster, and to increase the rewards earned dramatically.
- When in a party, Warriors can buff (increase the attribute points of) the Strength and Constitution of their party members. Assisted by a Warrior's high damage and critical hit chance, parties will end up completing boss quests much faster.
In short, the Warrior is perhaps the easiest class to play, as its high Constitution aids in survival, while the high Strength prevents tasks from becoming too red. It's also the ideal class for those who don't want to spend much energy on the class system.
At level 10 you can choose to stay a Warrior by enabling the class system. You can also choose to allow HabitRPG to allocate attribute points automatically.. The game will then carry on as it was before classes were unlocked.
